La collana “Canone
Teatrale Europeo”, pubblicata per i tipi di ETS, si arricchisce di questo
nuovo volume che raccoglie gli atti della conferenza internazionale svoltasi lo
scorso anno allUniversità Cattolica di Milano. Curata dal giurista Enzo Balboni e dalla storica
del teatro Annamaria Cascetta, la pubblicazione si interroga sul ruolo
chiave della cultura umanistica nel processo di creazione, sviluppo e
disseminazione dei valori fondativi dellidea di Europa. Centro nodale di una
rete di rapporti tra le arti performative e figurative e lambito della storiografia,
della giurisprudenza e delleconomia, il teatro è scelto come punto di
osservazione ideale per comprendere il tema dellintegrazione e la sua funzione
